Privacy Policy

Colorbook ("we," "us," or "our") uses a small set of tools to run the website, protect forms from abuse, and, when available, support the product itself. This page explains what information we collect, which providers help us run the service, and how browser storage is used today.

1. What We Collect

We collect a few basic categories of information to operate Colorbook:

• Launch updates and contact details: Your name, email address, and any message you send through the public site.
• Account details: The iPhone app may collect the information needed to sign in with Apple and secure your Account.
• Workflow data: The iPhone app may store Client names, Formulas, notes, photos, and related Service information that you choose to enter.

2. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to run the website and, when available, the application:

• Firebase (Google): Colorbook uses Firebase for website hosting, public contact handling, iPhone Account authentication, protected file storage, database infrastructure, and related app services.
• Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise: Colorbook uses these tools to help protect public forms and app requests from spam, abuse, and automated misuse.
• Apple App Store: Apple handles subscription purchases, payment details, subscription management, and refund requests. Colorbook receives subscription status needed to provide access, but does not receive or store your payment card details.
• Sentry: Colorbook may use Sentry for error monitoring and diagnostics on the public website and in the iPhone app.

3. Security

We use standard security measures designed to protect your information and reduce abuse of the service.

4. Browser Storage

Colorbook uses essential browser storage and similar browser state to run the public website and protect its forms.

• basic site state needed to render the public experience
• security checks that help protect public forms from spam or abuse
• temporary state needed to complete launch-list, founder, or contact flows

You can manage browser storage through your browser settings, but some public site features may stop working correctly if essential storage is blocked.

5. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests

You can initiate Account deletion from Settings in the iPhone app without an active Subscription. Account deletion is permanent: Colorbook closes Account access and removes Account-associated product data rather than keeping a restorable copy for later reactivation.

We may keep limited deletion records, operational logs, billing records, or other information only where needed for security, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, backup, or support obligations. Deleted data may remain in routine backups until those backups expire under our normal backup schedule.

For a broader Privacy request, including when you cannot enter your Account, make a Privacy request or email hello@getcolorbook.com. A Privacy request is separate from Account deletion and receives a response through the verified contact path.

6. Marketing Email

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe action. You can also stop marketing emails here. Unsubscribing stops promotional email for that address while Account, security, export, deletion, purchase, privacy, and support messages remain separate.
